What we do

The spiritual retreat is the door. The spiritual life is the daily goal.

01

Retreats

Spiritual retreats are structured with a rhythm of teaching, guided prayer, and soul care. We offer retreats for groups of pastors, pastors’ wives, ministry leaders, church staff teams, and for married couples.

Retreats are either onsite at our property in San Diego or offsite at various partner locations and host churches. We can also come to you and host a retreat at your church or ministry site.

Presently all onsite retreats are day retreats without overnight lodging.

02

Resources

Our resources include published books and online content. We are currently building a library of formation resources for ministry leaders and their spouses, exclusive to Rooted & Grounded.

03

Church Partnerships

We partner with pastors and churches to establish long-term pathways for formation and care for their leadership team, elders, and staff.

Each engagement is built around the needs of a particular leadership team. Ideally it runs one to two years and includes retreats, soul care, consultation, and resourcing. We work directly with you to craft an integrative plan of formation tailored to your church and ministry team.

Already have an idea of what you need? Let us know. We are flexible with the length, format, and structure of Church Partnerships.

04

Sabbatical Care

Customized and personalized care intensives for pastors and their spouses. Our intensives are structured with a rhythm of guided spiritual retreat, reading, and soul care. They are flexibly tailored to each individual or couple.

Care intensives are typically five days and are hosted onsite at our property in San Diego. For couples, we encourage a full seven-day trip that allows for two days of exploration and adventure in the San Diego area.

Overnight accommodations are arranged locally. Onsite lodging is planned but is not yet built.
